2015 saw the launch of the RZX5 combustion and hybrid prototypes, which participated at Formula Student Italy, and Formula Hybrid, USA respectively, as well as Formula Student India. The team was driven to empower more students to take up mobility projects, and obtain a platform to learn of various automotive technologies.

The RZX5C prototype placed Fourth, with Second Place in Endurance, and Second Place in Fuel Efficiency.
